The EU has joined the US in its interference in palestinian elections

''Javier Solana, the EU foreign policy chief, has said tens of millions of dollars of aid to the Palestinian Authority could be halted if the Islamist group wins elections next month and fails to renounce violence.''

In the meantime, Sharon, the butcher of Beyrouth, can exert any violence it pleases him against palestinians without anybody voicing a concern ! Double standards are being used by official organizations and governments against the weak and the poor and one don't have to wonder why there are so many palestinians ready to commit themselves to suicide bombing.

The decision of the US and now the EU to stop aid if Hamas wins the palestinian elections is a stupid decision because it is reinforcing Hamas's standing among palestinians and shutting down moderate voices.
Otherwise how can you react to such an intimidating attitude ?
