''The Arabs love to sell''

Or this goes the official zionist story.

First they weren't any Arabs in Palestine.
Second: they fled their homes.
Third: they sold their homes.

Do you see any contradictions in this line of arguments ?

Now East Jerusalem is being emptied from its Arabs by all means possible.

"Our goal is to hold on to outposts in East Jerusalem and create an irreversible situation in the sacred basin around the Old City," said Adi Mintz, a member of Elad's management board.

Rewriting history, recent or ancient, is fast becoming a favourite Judeo-Christian pastime.

And they get away with it too. How many young English speakers have the slightest of clues regarding the origins of the conflict? Many here in Britain are convinced the Palestinians are squarely to blame for everything...

Gert,

I find Britain more open to the history of this conflict because it is part of it. In addition, it has a balanced press (you have the Independant and the Guardian), so people can be informed about both sides if they want to put an end to their intoxication and get some knowledge of the conflict. The information about the conflict is really bad in the US, Canada and some northern european countries.

You're right of course that generally knowledge is better here than in the Midwest but we don't deserve a medal for that (lol).

Interestingly, The Guardian published some poll results showing nonetheless a frightening degree of ignorance regarding the issue, here in the Blighted Kingdom. You should find it in the special reports section. I was reading it today.

In the same section: Israeli officials accuse the BBC of... (no prizes for guessing, wait for it)... anti-Semitism...

Hi Sophie! French reporter Sylvain Cypel, who works for Le Monde, had a excellent article on what Israel is up to recently. Reporting like this is taboo in the USA. Translation is up at my website
