''Televangelist John Hagee told Jewish community leaders over the weekend that the 40 million evangelical Christians in the United States support Israel and that he plans to utilize this power to help Israel by launching a Christian pro-Israel lobby.The lobby, called Christians United for Israel, is slated to launch in July, during a Washington conference in which hundreds of American evangelicals are slated to participate, Hagee said at a meeting of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, which represents 52 national Jewish groups. He also discussed the lobby with Israel's consul general in New York, Aryeh Mekel.''

Christian evangelists support for Israel stems from a racist premise toward jews. They believe that all jews must return to the land of the Christ and their only motivation is to clear the US and other christian countries from jews, in other words, to do ethnic and religious cleansing. The declared intent to support Israel might appear as friendly toward jews but the intent behind is racism. It was the same with white american missionnaries who were helped by the US government to find a land for black people in Liberia and therefore to clear their society from black people !

Don't forget also that american jews are among the most liberal in american society and it will be a good riddance if christian evangelists succeed to send all of them to Israel !
