Israel and its water problem or why the Litani river is set as a limit to Israel's offensive war

It is notorious that Israel is in shortage of water and it is clear that Israel has no morality so nobody is going to believe them when they declare that they are not interested by the Lebanese Litani water. 'Litani' is in every declaration of Israeli officials.

''QASMIYA, Lebanon — Israeli bombing has knocked out irrigation canals supplying Litani River water to more than 10,000 acres of farmland and 23 villages in southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley, prompting accusations here that Israel is using its war against Hezbollah to lay claim to Lebanon's prime watersheds.''

''Zionist leader Chaim Weizmann, who would become the first president of Israel, in 1919 included the Litani valley among the "minimum requirements essential to the realization of the Jewish National Home." David Ben-Gurion, Israel's first prime minister, proposed including the Litani again in the 1940s on the eve of the creation of the Jewish state. In the 1950s, historical records show, Moshe Dayan, then chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces, and others favored occupying and ultimately annexing southern Lebanon up to the Litani River.''

My Message To the UN and the World:

As the United Nations works to broker a peace agreement, Israel's leader prepares to expand the war. It is written, "I set before you life and death, blessing and curse, choose life that you and seed may prosper." In the case of war, this scripture is significant. War brings death, not life. War is curse to economic growth and to the nations involved. Death ends family trees.

If peace does not come today, then far-right Islamic fundamentalists, and far-right Israli extremists have polarized and chosen death over live, curse over blessing, and the seed of many to perish. This is the reality of war.

It is important to remember, these waring parties had a choice set before them. If war is chosen then the consequences of war is chosen. Destruction, famine, disease, civilian deaths, economic destruction and enviromental disaster shall follow because these are the curse of war.

If war is chosen, Nations of world have also chosen war. The United Nations will have failed. The Arab League will have failed. America will have failed. When all of the Nations on earth can not work to help choose peace over war, then world leaders need to reconsider the rules of international diplomacy.
