Mabrouk Sophia !

'Ouf!' As you say in French... it was tense.

No more doubts now. There's no turning back even if the road ahead will be long and winding. I will see a prosperous and free Arab world, including Palestine, in my lifetime.

Confusion to the enemy!

What has taken place is a military coup. The Higher Military Council is the ultimate arbiter of who will or will not be appointed to government office.

I too hope, but the omens are not good.

Yes we can continue to hope (and happy birthday :-) )

PS: Sophie I became a grandfather again last week.

Gert,

Thanks for your optimism. Let's wait and hope now that hope is possible again.

Dear Mark,

I understand your pessimism and we may see some setbacks and despair again but something has changed irreversibly and I hope some good will come from it.

My heartfelt congratulations on the birth of your second? grandchild. I wish you and your growing family all the best and I hope that the mother and the baby are doing well.

Thanks for your well wishes.

Sophia
